Information we collect

When you submit the booking form, we collect the information you provide directly — typically your name, email address, phone number, Instagram handle, details about the tattoo you’re interested in (placement, size, preferred dates, and your idea/description), and any reference photos you choose to attach (up to 10). We do not ask for or knowingly collect any sensitive health information, government ID numbers, or payment details through this website.

Separately, this site may use Google Analytics and Google Ads, which automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, device/browser type, and browsing behavior on this site (see “Analytics and advertising” below).

How we use your information

Booking details are used solely to respond to your request, discuss your design, and schedule your appointment. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Emails you receive from us relate directly to your booking request — we do not send unsolicited marketing email. Any reply-based correspondence can be opted out of at any time by simply asking.

Service providers

We use a small number of third-party services to run this site and process booking requests, each of which processes data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms:

• Vercel — hosts this website and its server functions.
• Neon (Postgres) — stores booking request details and site settings in a database.
• Vercel Blob — stores any reference photos you attach to a booking request.
• Resend — delivers the email notification generated when you submit the booking form.
• Telegram — if enabled, delivers a copy of the booking request (including any photos) to the studio’s Telegram account via a private bot.
• Google Analytics / Google Ads — measures site traffic and advertising performance (see below).

Analytics and advertising

We may use Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand site traffic and measure the performance of our advertising. These services use cookies and similar technologies that may collect information such as your IP address and browsing behavior on this site, and may set cookies used for measuring ad conversions and, where enabled, remarketing. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time, and opt out of personalized Google advertising at adssettings.google.com. You can also install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics on any site.

Data retention & your rights

We keep booking request details for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service and maintain business records, and we periodically remove old or resolved requests. You can ask us at any time, through the booking form or via Instagram, to:

• See what information we hold about you,
• Correct inaccurate information, or
• Delete your information from our records.

We will respond to and action reasonable requests within a reasonable timeframe. Some information may need to be retained where we have a legitimate business or legal reason to keep it (for example, a signed consultation record).

Children’s privacy

This website and our tattoo services are not directed at, and are not intended for use by, children. Tattoo appointments require clients to be 18 or older with valid photo ID (see our FAQ). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 through this website.

Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the information you share with us, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and access-restricted admin tools. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Reference photos are stored at an unlisted, hard-to-guess web address rather than behind a login — please avoid attaching photos you wouldn’t want seen by someone who somehow obtained that exact link.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to the site or applicable law. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
